Shipping and Returns

Shipping times: Shipping times indicated below are for transit only. Each order has a processing time depending on the time of year. Full & Premium adoptions usually take 5-7 business days (or longer) to process before we ship. Holiday processing times take longer. We will send out an email with a tracking number once your order has shipped. We can not be held resposible for delays due to weather or delays and/or logistical errors by UPS or USPS.

Standard Shipping: Is via UPS Ground or USPS Priority Mail depending on location and is a flat rate of $9.90 up to 8lb and $12.50 up to 50lbs.

UPS Ground: Is the actual cost of shipping via UPS Ground and can take up to 5 business days. We ship from Massachusetts, so most locations within the Northeast take 1-2 business days, Southeast 2-3 business days, Midwest business 3-4 days, Southwest & West Coast 5 business days.

UPS 3 Day:3 business days. Please note that UPS Ground shipping can take less time to arrive than 3 day shipping depending on your location. If you are shipping in the Northeast, UPS Ground is a better and less expensive option.

USPS Priority Mail: We only use USPS for PO Boxes and addresses in Alaska, Hawaii and other US territories outside the lower 48.

Adoption Welcome Packages- We try to send out welcome packages for olive tree adoptions within 5-7 business days of receiving orders via UPS Ground and on some occasions via USPS. Once we receive an order for a Full or Premium adoption, we head into the groves to tag and take photos of YOUR adopted tree (we don't send you a standard photo of the prettiest tree in the grove) so if we are having a bad stretch of weather or during harvest. it may take longer to send your welcome package. We also have an Express adoption for that last minute gift, although it is not as personalized as the full & premium adoption packages (we do not tag a tree with your name for Express adoptions), Express adoptions usually ships within 2-3 days or sooner.

Please keep in mind, orders received in December will take longer to ship. U.S. adoption orders received after December 12th will not arrive before Christmas.

Since we ship via UPS we unfortunately can not make special requests such as "Please call number provided if no one answers the door" However, we do include delivery confirmation with each order and if the above service become available through UPS we will consider them:)

Shipping to P.O. Boxes can only be shipped via USPS.

We are only shipping to the US at this time. Due to increased shipping costs, we no longer ship to Canada. We apologize for the inconvenience. We look forward to expanding soon.

Olive Oil- For Full & Premium adoptions, we ship 3 half-liter tins of olive oil from the most recent harvest with your Welcome Package and 3 half liter tins of olive oil from your tree in the Spring (usually late April early May) Please make sure that someone is available to receive your Olive Oil. We cannot assume responsibility for products after delivery for factors beyond our control.

Harvest - Harvest in Calabria can start as early as late September and can last until January depending on the year. Other regions of Italy to the north have shorter harvest periods that end as early as November because of frost and winter weather.

Customers that adopt olive trees by February 28th will receive their Spring olive oil in late April/early May of the same year.

Customers that adopt olive trees starting March 1st will receive the olive oil from their tree the following spring.

Returns: We will replace damaged, leaking or broken items. If for any reason you are not happy with your order, please contact us so that we can make things right if we can.
